Although its been released for quite some time, we'd thought that its never too late to share a good read. Superstar Kanye West has compiled his witty thoughts and advice he has gained through his successful career into a book entitled "Thank You and You're Welcome", co-authored with J. Sakiya Sandifer. The book features 52 pages of neon coloured quotes and all the explanations written by Yeezy himself which includes some of our favourites, like the "Free Gift Bag" quote in which he specifies to readers:
"Don't let people think you owe them anything. That puts you in a position of weakness. If they choose to give, it's their choice."
For example, I asked someone to do a part on my album. The artist agreed and said, "I'm not even going to charge you," as if he was doing me a favor, "But, when I'm working on my album, I want you to do a verse for me."
I responded with, "NO! I want to pay you for what I asked you to do and we'll talk about that verse when the time comes. Thank You And You're Welcome!"
