Jason Gomez aka Mr.Coffin himself will be in the building to showcase a collection of works beginning at 900P this Saturday, 100309, followed by myself, DJ DELVE (KICKS/HI - SuperHandsome - Architechs - HI.ED), spinning from 1000P until closing time. This promises to be ultra fun times for all 21+ friends and fam, and not being in Hawaii is no excuse! Come through!! Its absolutely FREE all night long. NO COVER...

I'm sorry but I'm going to be totally real and say: How could Nike come with this AM1 as a representation of the West. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love me an AM1. You should see my room-its filled with them, but put this up against that Gucci colorway Dunk High Supreme and its kind of not even fair. Of course, what do I know? Both will be available for purchase this Saturday at the Makaloa shop.

OK, it seems like some dope collab with Parra by super official brands keep popping up in our shop and on all the blogs almost on the weekly, which should be the wake up call to open your eyes to some good art/graphics in the signature style and color wheel as only Parra can deliver. This Air Maxim 1+ has Parra's hand all over it-from the color splatters to the handdrawn details on the tongue tag and insole. And I will tell you this much, as a huuuuuge AM1 fan, the Air Maxim 1+ is too dope. The material on the toebox insures that it will never ever crease and its just dumb light and comfortable. NIKE MENS OCTOBER 2009:
AM95 made a huge push in 2009. I've never seen this many people rocking '95s in the streets in a minute! It feels like, well '95 all over again...except there's this stupid recession going on. Now at our Makaloa shop.
Nike gives this Blazer Mid the vintage treatment. I only have one word to describe this beautiful shoe: UNREAL! Now at our Makaloa shop., and one with a red check at our Ward shop (the pic of that jumpoff is up on our KICKS/HI twitter.
Brand new silhouettes: Auto Force 180 Mid and Auto Flight High now in the building at both KICKS/HI Ward and Makaloa shops. Vulcanized soles! Both are extremely sick shoes. Hands down the favorites of all the workers in the shop. With the Auto Force 180 Mid with the slight edge because this shoe could be the cross-over skate shoe of 2009. For real. Young Ray Ray was drooling to get his feet in these and then on to his deck.
The Joseph Abad pro model Big Nike High now in the building at both Ward and Makaloa shops. Hahaha. Nah. Its the Elvis Costello pro model. Nah. Hahahaha. Its the Spike Lee tribute Big Nike High-referenced by the spectacle logo on the tongue tag and the inconic J1 red,black and white colorway. Steezy!
