Our friend, Troy Gomes, is a genius, wizard, party animal, truth seeker, surfer, music critic and full blown weirdo. In between being all of those things, we asked Troy, who is an amazing designer in his own right, to do a collection for us. He wanted to know "of what?" and we told him "whatever you like" and he returned with a triptych that explained is "the mysteries of the universe". That's all I got from him in the form of a vocal explanation, but the designs, ah the designs, are where the explanations visually manifest themselves. That said, let me introduce "Mysteries of the Universe Pt.1 (of three)". Available this Saturday at both our Ward and Makaloa shops, as well as in our KICKS/HI online store. Also exclusively at KICKS/HI Guam and Saint Alfred in Chicago. Speaking of which...

Unfortunately, I don't have a great story about this shirt like I did for the previous one so I'll tell you a joke: Q. What do you call a bear with no teeth? A. A gummy bear! LOL smiley face. NIKE MENS AF1 PREMIUM "WEST COAST" by EDDIE CRUZ // SATURDAY, 102409 RELEASE:
Union/UNDFTD head honcho, Eddie Cruz, designed this dope AF1 Premium low which will be available exclusively in Hawaii at our Makaloa shop this Saturday. The upper is a purple! faux croc with yellow check and red outsole. Not really as bugged out when wearing as it may seem in the picture. Trust me, I've tried it on numerous times in the last day or two since we received the shoes. It's the butter jumpoff of the fall for sure.

NIKE MENS NOV'09 SELECTIONS:
Big Nike "Reptile Pack" Low and High. I know you see that Gucci color low, fam!
SO OFFICIAL! All black everything RT1 a la Mr.Shawn Carter and a new AutoFlight colorway. I'm loving these for real for real.
You're going to notice that Nike has gone out of their Vulcan(ized) minds from the rest of these pics. All vulcanized soles, which I'm not mad at all. A little much but still banging. Sweet Classics have become one of the major go-to shoes in the shop. Dudes have been really gravitating to this silhouette (lows and highs). These all feature nice perforated suede uppers.
Delta Force hybrids with vulcanized soles. A fresh take on a classic sneaker. Great colors!
Another classic remixed is this AutoForce "Dream Team" jumpoff, which plays on the '92 Dream Team colorway. I am surprised the skate kids haven't jumped all over this silhouette yet-it is tailor made to be a really good skate shoe. That's how I came into sneakers is through skateboarding. I found the early Jordans were the best shoes to skate in. I tore up 1's and 3's like it was nobody's business! Those were the days!
Blazer Mid '09 ND. This is a RRRRREALLY NICE SHOE! The details: the perf check, the stitching...its good. 'Nuff said. Get it Blazer heads!
