Built on our own KICKS/HI engineered t-shirt body and of the same hi-grade cotton (Orange Label V-Necks, Orange Label striped tee, etc.), this contrast yoke tee is on that "saved the best for last" of the KICKS/HI Orange Label releases. I personally love all of our Orange Label cut and sew on the strength of a quality garment-no bias. These contrast yoke tees are my favorite because it feels and looks crazy expensive. Like I can see Comme de Garcons with something like this in their Spring collection. Just an observation-no obnoxious. This limited edition (300 pairs worldwide) pair of Chucks for (Product) RED by LA womens clothing label Vena Cava evokes memories of those drawn on Chucks that I did in like fifth grade, but waaaaaaaaaaay better. When I opened the box to shoot this shoe I just sat and stared at it for a couple of minutes. It is a super unique shoe: the lace system is part of the shoe upper as well, which also creates the perfect framing for logos. "United Bamboo designer Thuy Pham chose to create a clean, low-profile version of the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star. With a circle design inspired by modernist painter Sonia Delauney. Thuy says he wanted it to have a New York style with loose references to tennis, his favorite sport. United Bamboo is a label and a lifestyle. Launched in 1998, and now expanded into a cultural project. NIKE AF1 SUPREME "LIVESTRONG: LANCE ARMSTRONG" // SATURDAY, 120509 RELEASE:
Livestrong AF1 Supreme based off the popular UNDFTD AF1 of similar design with the woven shemagh pattern for the forefront and side panels. The heel and outsole are the signature Livestrong yellow. The midsole is black leather and laser etched into it is the statement "ON YOUR BIKE KID", which is an extrapolation (hey word of the day! look it up if you don't know!) on the statement on the UNDFTD AF1: "ON YOUR FEET KID". Proceeds from this shoe go towards the Lance Armstrong Foundation, which helps fund education about and a cure for cancer. This shoe will be available at KICKS/HI Makaloa tomorrow.

PATTA came with it (AGAIN!). Them dudes have been more than consistent with every collaboration that I've seen from them, and this is yet another. I know you've seen it in all the blogs and such so I won't go into the details. I personally like when Nike does the double check (the second being the littled embroidered check on the toecap section). Nike took their CLASSIC Magma silhouette and vulcanized the sole to give it a fresh perspective but still keeping in its hiking inspired DNA with the upper. This is the sleeper of the releases.
