Every once and a while Nike comes through with a little Tier Zero love, and this time its a beautiful ACG Lunar Wood+ offering. All the outdoor ruggedness of an ACG shoe with the stylings of a dope sneaker silhouette. There is a cool woven ACG logo with a crescent moon on the tongue. The outsole is a blend of a lunaracer and an ACG trail shoe. A grey or yellow hiking lace option. This is one of those gems for the true sneaker dude. NIKE MENS JANUARY 2010 SELECTIONS:
New blue Toki Mid (this is just the GS version of the Toki; therefore, it doesn't have the Zoom Air insole as the QS leather jumpoff we got in a month ago) and the winner of this month's releases IMO is this lovely leather Blazer Mid '09 ND. Lovely. Premium black leather upper, thin, soft tongue, and an all white vulcan outsole. Lovely. Now available at both KICKS/HI Makaloa and Ward locations.

Sometimes Nike takes chances with established silhouettes. Sometimes it works. Sometimes its "eh". This time it works. Say hello to the Mad Jibe Mid. I really like how the designers took the popular Mad Jibe dock shoe and didn't just add material to it to make it a Mid. The way it looks now is like an entirely different shoe-in the best way possible. Its like a dunk high, RT1 and mad jibe all together in one. Way styled out. Get yours at KICKS/HI Makaloa.

Speaking of the Lunaracer outsole, here are two extra fly silhouettes: Lunaracer +2 (with the lime green outsole) and Lunar Rejuven8 Mid + (with the yellow outsole). I cannot speak enough on how much everyone at the shop REALLY likes these two models. They are both lighter than a hummingbird passing gas. For as teched out the Lunaracer is, it is a very aesthetically pleasing shoe that I think you can rock on the casual tip; as well as out for a 2 mile run at night. The Lunar Rejuven8 Mid+ is a hybrid of the Lunaracer and Rejuven8. Kind of reminds me of the woven Nike Desert Boots from early 2000s, but in this case the upper is the Rejuven8 punched diamond frame with a thin mesh over it (looks like a veil). Excellent details.
